General Admission Process
Who Can Apply?
Admission into the University is open to any student desiring quality education and who
is willing to abide by or cooperate with the policies of the University, and be comfortable
within its atmosphere.

The prospective applicant should make a formal application on an official form available in this website.
The completed forms, accompanied with certified copies of transcripts, certificates, diplomas, birth
certificates and other relevant documents must reach the Office of the Registrar two months prior to the
starting of the semester for which admission is sought.
The Admissions Committee acts only on those applications that are complete with all supporting
documents. Only those applicants who meet the academic requirements of the University, express
willingness to comply with its policies and regulations, and have demonstrated sponsorship will be
considered for admission.
New students are admitted only in October and March of every academic year.
Students under Direct Entry can apply through the TCU Central Admission System (CAS).
Documents Submitted for Admission
Transcripts of credits and all documents which are submitted by a student seeking admission to
the University, become the property of the University of Arusha and are kept in the student's permanent
file. Certified copies are acceptable if the student wishes to keep the originals, but they must be
presented at the time of registration, and at any other time as may be required by the Registrar or
other officials of the University.
